The pictures are in! You all look so cute in your bunny ears. What a lively evening filled with dancing bunnies! We had an absolute blast grooving to the tunes of the 60s. Kicking off the dance floor with a spirited rendition of the “senior” Bunny Hop, you set the perfect tone. Forever Young truly wowed us with their fantastic music, and John DiCarlo’s performance was exceptional. Without a doubt, we’ll be inviting them back next year. And wasn’t the photo booth and decorations delightful, frolicking bunnies in the garden? Congratulations to the winners of the 60s dance contests—you’ve still got the moves of a 20-something! To lend a hand, simply fill out a volunteer form on their website, and let’s all pitch in to support their kitchen together.

We will be back at Moyer Rec Center for our June 6th afternoon performance at our usual afternoon time slot at 1:30 – 3:00 PM.
We’ve got a little switch-up in plans this month! We will not be shaking it up at Moyer in the afternoon , BUT fear not, because we’re bringing the groove to a brand-new location: Aviary Rec Center! Join us on Thursday, May 2, 2024, for a fun party event.
Here are the details you need to know:
🕠 Time: Doors swing open at 5:30 PM, and the real fun kicks off at 6 PM sharp!
🎶 Entertainment: Get ready to move and groove to the beats spun by Mr. and Mrs. you know who, alongside the incredible Bobby ‘V’. It’s going to be a fun night of dance and entertainment! And we will have 50/50 raffle to liven up the event.🍹 What to Bring: Don’t forget your refreshments to keep you energized throughout the night. And of course, make sure to bring your village ID’s, your crew of friends, and Club Leaders . We’d love to bring the fun to your club events too.

We are planning events for this year. If you’d like to be a part of the planning team, click the Volunteer button and we will invite you to our planning meeting in September. Below are some areas we need help:
Dance theme – ideas for dance themes
Entertainment – search for good quality entertainment
Decorations – design to match the theme
Charitable organizations – charities must be 501C3, must help the local community, and help homeless or people in need.
Advertising – Facebook, Nextdoor, Villages Daily Sun or magazines
Singles coordinator – someone to organize tables of singles.
Setup/teardown and work the front table at dances.
By the way, we’ve given over $17,800 to local charities since we started this in April 2020. Thank you for supporting your community.
