As an experienced entertainer, I have performed in Choirs, Folk Groups, Rock Bands, Acappella, and Oldies groups. When living in NY, I was a finalist in the NY Senior Idol competition for my performance of “The Impossible Dream.”

Currently, I am singing and/or DJing in The Villages using professionally-prepared vocal tracks, singing and playing a wide variety of music from the 40’s to today. Focusing on the Top 125 hits of all time, I now sing tunes that were sung by over 65 different male artists.
For 20 years, I performed as a solo vocalist/keyboard player in restaurants, lounges and private affairs of every kind, and then as a professionally trained DJ/MC for another 20 years.

Since moving to the Villages a little over a year ago, I have been running the Rock’N With Richie Karaoke club, and I just recently began the Sounds of the Legends Come Alive music event every other month at the Everglades Recreation Center in the new Grand Canyon Ballroom.  At every event in which I sing/perform, I work hard to ensure that the guests dance and/or sing along to the songs I know they love to hear. I love to teach guests how to line dance or to dance to other popular group dances. As a result, I know how to run a party and to read a crowd to ensure success.  You can also find me rehearsing with the Starlight Players and with the Off Broadway drama clubs. This past fall, I was casted as Gomez in the Addams Family Musical with the Starlight Players.

Most recently, I’ve joined one of the most popular and talented harmony groups in The Villages called Back in Time.
