I was born and raised in a small town in Southwestern Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh.
My wife Paulette and I have been married since 1970 and have two children, Kristin and Kevin.
After graduation from the University Of Pittsburgh I was involved in Sales Management until I retired in 2013. We moved to The Villages in June 2020.

I began collecting records in the early 1960’s after discovering a local DJ, Porky Chedwick, who did not follow the national pop music trends and played a mix the R&B, Doo Wop & Soul music that he loved. He included many old records that he called Dusty Discs in his rotation and I began searching for and buying as many of the sounds featured on his show that I could find and/or afford. I have continued my love affair with this music throughout my lifetime although I sold my vinyl after digitizing a lot of it prior to our move to Florida.

Although I can’t play an instrument or sing a note on key I like to think that I can listen as well as anyone.
