Upcoming Shows
Hi, everyone!
Saturday night’s Sounds of the Legends Dance was truly fantastic! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. If this was your first event with our Sounds of the Legends family, we extend a very warm welcome to you.
During the dance, Sounds of the Legends President, Richie Lanna, announced that the club will be taking a break. No need to worry, though—there will still be plenty of opportunities to dance and enjoy fantastic music at Richie’s solo events, Silver Rockerz Band dances, Krista and Mark’s shows, and all throughout The Villages.
Saturday night’s Disco Inferno was not only a wonderful evening of entertainment but also another successful fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of the Sounds of the Legends Club and our guests—who always reach deep into their pockets to support our causes—we have now donated an incredible $28,600 to local charities. Together, we have truly made a difference in our community!
Richie and the entire Sounds of the Legends team were deeply appreciative and humbled by the overwhelming number of compliments and kind words they received after the show.
The evening was filled with memorable moments, including Richie teaching everyone the L.A. Walk and Mark, Willie, and Richie harmonizing and dancing while Krista belted out “Hot Stuff.” You know it is going to be a great night when the entertainers are having just as much fun as the audience!
As we look ahead, we would love to see you at one—or all—of these upcoming events:
Music Lovers Showcase — September 24 and 25
The Music Lovers Showcase is always a September highlight! The Silver Rockerz Band will perform on September 24 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Rhett Butler Room, and Richie Lanna will perform on September 25 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Ashley Wilkes Room.
Tickets are valid for an entire day of entertainment. Please see the flyer below for additional information. This is also a fantastic opportunity to explore local entertainment options for your club socials.
Silver Rockerz Band Dance Night — October 3
We will welcome the fall season with a Silver Rockerz Band Dance Night. The band plans to add a few haunting songs to its setlist, but one of the evening’s biggest highlights will be a performance by the talented Thrill the Villages dance team.
With Richie dressed as a zombie, we hope he will leave the stage and join the dancers on the dance floor as they perform Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”—just as they do in The Villages Town Squares! The team always draws a large crowd, and the Silver Rockerz Band is thrilled to welcome them as special guests.
The Villages Recreation Dance — Friday, October 9
The Villages Recreation Department has invited the Silver Rockerz Band to perform at its first monthly dance of the season at Lake Miona Recreation Center.
Tickets are only $5 each and may be purchased in advance at your local recreation center.
Doo-Wop Social — October 14
Richie will host the Doo-Wop Social at the Odell Recreation Center. Once again, the Thrill the Villages dancers will treat us to another exciting performance.
Richie has also invited several talented local guest performers to join him for this special Halloween event. Please see the flyer below for additional details.
Thank you again for your friendship, enthusiasm, generosity, and unwavering support of Sounds of the Legends. We hope to see you on the dance floor again very soon!
Warm Regards,
Eileen on behalf of the Sounds of the Legends Team
