Last night’s Sounds of the Legends event was a “Vegas Glam” dance party and a resounding success! The fun never stopped as Mark Raisch, Richie Lanna, Krista Joy, and special guest Elvis impersonator Sebastian Garland delivered top-notch entertainment while fundraising for a great cause. We were honored to have everyone attend, and thanks to your generosity, we collectively raised $750 for Waypoint Veterans.

We are excited to announce that the box office for the July 18th Sounds of the Legends show/dance/fundraiser is now open. Krista and Petrina will be performing their hearts out, and you can definitely expect a bit of silliness and comedy as well. The attire for this dance will be “glow-in-the-dark!”Once again, Sounds of the Legends is thrilled to support the “I Sparkle” charity as our next chosen charity for this event. Be sure to buy your tickets early, as anyone who has seen Petrina perform knows she draws a big crowd. Additionally, donations for “I Sparkle” will be awarded to qualified high school seniors.

Mark your calendars for future shows as well—we’ll always be at the Everglades Recreation Center every third Saturday of the odd months in 2026! Let’s create some unforgettable memories and keep the music alive together! Save the following dates for future Sounds of the Legends shows/dances: September 19 and November 14 (this month only, we’ll meet on the second Saturday).

Additional opportunities to keep the music alive include the Silver Rockerz band with Richie on keys, performing on June 30th at the Everglades Recreation Center.
