Toni Booker

Hello, my name is Toni Booker. I am a vocalist, and available for hire to perform for your club. I sing Doo Wop, R&B, Motown, Jazz, and Country.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I started singing during my formative elementary school years and all through high school. After graduating, I performed at local colleges and centers in and around the Columbus area.

Upon meeting the love of my life, Ronald Booker, (who is also my Sound Engineer), I moved to Detroit, MI. I served as a police officer for the City of Detroit until retirement. After we both retired, Ronnie (who also retired from the Detroit Police Department) and I moved to The Villages in 2007 where, unexpectedly, my passion for entertaining took off again. In 2010, a favorite Village singing group, The Dorels, was formed where I was the quintet’s female Vocalist, Assistant Music Director, Secretary, and Choreographer. Choreography is also a passion of mine, having created multiple dances for the Villages Rhythm and Blues Line Dance Club. Around that same time, I also joined a girl group named the Accidentals who were also performing in and around The Villages. The Accidentals are no longer performing, but The Dorels may have performed for your club in the past.

Ronnie and I are proud parents of four beautiful daughters, eight darling grandchildren, and four adorable great grandchildren.
