The January 18th Sounds of the Legends show was a resounding success and so much fun. For those of you who were unable to attend last night, this was Krista Joy and Mark Raisch’s first time at the helm with the support of Richie and Eileen. The Sounds of the Legends team is committed to providing you with quality entertainment while fundraising at the same time. Having said that, the box office for the March 21st Sounds of the Legends is now open. And now a first for at the Sounds of the Legends….we have booked the Country Legends Party Band, and additionally, Mark Raisch and Richie will be the guest performers. Yeehaw, folks! Get ready to kick up your heels and join us for a hoedown of legendary proportions! The next Sounds of the Legends show is just around the corner on March 21st, and we’re bringing the spirit of country music to The Villages! Put on your best western attire—think boots, hats, and shiny belt buckles—as we gather for a night filled with lively tunes and good old-fashioned fun. This time, we’re excited to announce that we’ll have a live band joining us, and our very own Mark Raisch and Richie will be taking center stage as guest performers. It’s a night you won’t want to miss! We’re also thrilled to support The Honor Flight, our chosen charity for this event. Mark your calendars for future shows too—we’ll always be at the Everglades Recreation Center every third Saturday of the odd months in 2026! Let’s make some memories and keep the music alive together! We can’t wait to see you there! Save the following dates for future Sounds of the Legends shows/dances: March 21, May 16, July 18, Sept 19, and Nov 14 (the 2nd Saturday, this month only).
Additional opportunities to keep the music alive are as follows:
- Silver Rockerz band with Richie on the Keys: Feb. 7 and March 7th at the Everglades Recreation Center. (Silver Rockerz hosts a dance party on the first Saturday of every month)
